The challenge
When lots of people look after a pet, between family, pet sitters and grandparents, the question is always the same: "Did you already give the pill?". Treatments, vet visits, test results and walks end up scattered across chats, notes and memory.
What was needed was a single shared profile, clear even for people who aren't comfortable with technology, usable in a few seconds and often with one hand, without putting the pet's health data at risk.
Our approach
We designed and built two native apps with the same features: SwiftUI for iPhone and Kotlin for Android. A dose is confirmed straight from the notification, the circle of carers has different roles, and documents are read on the phone without sending photos anywhere else.
The tone is set by Cloud, a real dog turned into an illustration who appears on screens and empty states. Alongside the apps there is the cloudpet.app website with its blog, and store listings in seven languages.

Confirm from the notification
Confirm, Remind me or Skipped right from the lock screen. It records who gave the dose.

A circle with roles
Owner, Family member, Pet sitter and Viewer: each person sees and does only what they need.

Readable documents
Test results and medicine packaging read on the phone and made searchable, without sending photos to external servers.

Reports for the vet
A 7, 30 or 90-day summary as a PDF, ready in one tap for the visit.

Widgets and a voice diary
Today's doses on the Home Screen, and a diary you dictate that is transcribed on the phone.

Privacy first
No ads and no tracking: shared data reaches only the people who were invited.

The result
Cloud Pet is live on the App Store and Google Play in seven languages, with updates released on both platforms at the same time. Version 1.3 added widgets, custom measurements, a voice diary and a profile shared between iPhone and Android.
